Hi,
we had a great time playing Mob City for the first time, but we had some questions:
1) Notoriety and Buildings: The notoriety can never fall below the total notoriety value of the owned buildings; but does this mean, that my notoriety increases with any building I buy, or do I have to increase my notoriety (winnig shootouts) before I'm allowed to buy buildings? Or neither of them, that is, the minimal value for notoriety from the buildings applies only if I'm going to loose a point of notoriety?
2) Enforcer Groups: Are the enforcer groups fixed or is it allowed to rearrange them every 'day', i.e., move an enforcer or weapon card from one group to another?
Thanks in advance for the reply and greetings from Germany

1a) Yes your notoriety can never fall below the value of your owned buildings (refer to player info card for values). If you loose a shoot ou, ur notoriety will drop by 1, however if this means it would drop below your total building value then your notoriety won't drop.
1b) Yes, your notoriety increases each time ou buy a building. Of course notoriety can never go beyond 10. ;)
1c) As long as you hve the cash, you can buy buildings, it doesn't matter what notoriety you have.
2) Enforcer groups are fixed! Two reasons for this. 1, it would slow down game play if players constantly rearrange their groups. 2, it gives other Captains a chance to track down your Molls and Assassins, or basically any special enforcer cards you have. |
